Youth Leadership

Leadership is about the art of influencing and motivating people to work together to achieve their goals.  GSGLLEN's Youth Leadership programs support students to experience leadership opportunities they would otherwise be unable to experience by providing programs to participate in activities that increase confidence, build transferable skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities and introduces students to different career opportunities within the region.

GSGLLEN support youth leadership through the Young Leaders (Southern Grampians) and Future Leaders (Glenelg) programs.

The programs introduces students to different industries, allows opportunities for networking and challenges the way they think about the world of work. We pair students with a mentor in their field of choice to provide career guidance and provide hands on experience of their future career. The programs provide greater access to industry pathways and mentors in the broader community, supports opportunities for young people to participate in the workforce and builds the social capacity of our communities.
