Project Ready

The GSGLLEN supports Project Ready in Glenelg and is highly effective at helping disadvantaged students develop the job readiness and life skills necessary to successfully transition from secondary school to work or further education.

The Project Ready Facilitator works with Glenelg schools to get VCE-VM ready with a fun and engaging VET solution. Project Ready is an evidence-based work readiness and personal development program incorporating VET CHC24015 Certificate II in Active Volunteering . It includes two SWL placements per participating student.

First delivered in 2017 to assist potential early school leavers become re-engaged in their education, it has since been redeveloped to meet the needs of a wider range of students such as those who undertaking the VCE Vocational Major or need to develop the work readiness skills required to successfully transition into further training or the workforce. 

Project Ready is available as a full-year VET program mapped against CHC24015 Certificate II in Active Volunteering. The program is auspiced by AST (TOID 4603) and delivered by a TAE-qualified trainer, known as the Project Ready facilitator.
