Through a range of dynamic programs and initiatives, the GSGLLEN in partner with local organisations, schools and Industry leaders bridge the gap between education and industry, offering hands-on experiences and invaluable insights through participation and support. From tailored industry tours to engaging workshops, we're committed to shaping futures and creating pathways to success.

Industry Tours

Industry tours spark students curiosity - from technology and healthcare to creative arts and beyond. Students get to meet industry leaders, witness cutting-edge processes, and gain a unique perspective on what their potential future career could look like. These tours aren't just about seeing, they're about doing. Students are encouraged to ask questions, and immerse themselves in the dynamic environments where innovation happens. It's a journey of discovery and inspiration, all geared towards helping students make informed decisions about their future. The GSGLLEN currently hosts the Year 9 Industry tour in Glenelg. Careers Expo’s

At GSGLLEN, we're committed to ensuring every student has the tools and opportunities to navigate their path towards a successful career. GSGLLEN's support for the Careers Expo stems from a deep-seated commitment to providing career support. and the recognition that career exploration and preparation are integral components of a well-rounded education. The GSGLLEN has been involved in the planning committee of the Glenelg Careers, Jobs and Skills EXPO and is the lead in the development of the Southern Grampians Careers Expo. VET Taster Days

VET DSS, which stands for Vocational Education & Training Delivered to Secondary Students, seamlessly integrates senior secondary education with immersive, hands-on training. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights and experience in an industry that piques student’s interest. In Southern Grampians the GSGLLEN works in partnership with the Hamilton & District Skills Centre, RIST, Monivae College (Engineering) and South West TAFE to provide students with opportunities to engage with VET DSS student training.
